Did you know the first automobiles sold on University Avenue were at the Ford Motor Company's assembly plant and showroom at 117 University Ave. in 1913? A lot has changed in the past 100+ years, including the makeup of retail on one of Saint Paul's most famous commercial corridors. Join us January 24 to learn more about the history, the current state of retail and what the future holds.

The Economic Development Program encourages and guides economic development in the Midway through advocacy, policy and program development, support for existing businesses and recruitment of new businesses.

The Economic Development meetings are held  the 4th Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at 11:30 a.m. at rotating locations throughout the Midway area.
