The following are responsibilities of the Midway Chamber Ambassador Committee

Ambassadors/Development

Recruit and Retain: Recruit new members-Retain current members

Prospects

  • Review prospect list
  • Sign thank you cards for new members
  • Assign Ambassador

Retention Begins Day 1

  • Ambassadors assigned members to contact – event/programming reminders
  • Check-in on members not attending events
  • Review upcoming renewals/check-in

Retention Efforts- AR

  • Members get invoiced
  • Invoice re-sent after 30 days
  • 45 days- direct contact by staff
  • Invoice resent after 60 days
  • 75 days- direct contact by ambassador
  • Cut-off date- membership is dropped after 120 days of a past due invoice

Ambassador Assignments

  • New member/renewal packets
    • Conversations with members (scripted questions)
  • Help at events- registration table, assigned new members, seated at different tables
  • Ribbon cuttings
  • Retention contact
  • Connecting with new members throughout year- assigned ambassadors to new members
