    Job Description
    Coordinate pickups and deliveries of donated items from a variety of residences and businesses to our ReStore locations in New Brighton and Minneapolis. Connect with a variety of donors in the 7-county metro area to answer questions and coordinate logistics of the donations process. Ensure a safe, effective, and sensible route for staff drivers while creating a schedule conducive to donor needs and staff capacity. Work with internal staff to anticipate and resolve challenges associated with pickups and drop-offs of donated items. Serve as a donations ambassador by providing excellent customer service to donors, staff, and volunteers alike.
    · Scheduling, Operations, and Logistics
       o Provide exemplary customer service by promptly handling phone calls and providing timely acknowledgment of donations. Respond to all phone calls, messages, and emails.
       o Adhere to acceptable donations guidelines. Decline donations in a professional and courteous manner while maintaining positive relationships and donor engagement.
       o Monitor donation trends and communicating needs.
       o Use scheduling software and data programs to schedule donation pickups for all ReStore locations.
       o Plan and schedule safe and efficient pickup routes to include unloading and break times.
       o Communicate route and donation details to ReStore team in a positive and timely manner.
       o Use Verizon Networkfleet software to monitor route success. Anticipate and resolve challenges with traffic, weather, and stop delays by re-routing drivers and communicating with donors as appropriate.
       o Work with donors in a professional manner to resolve concerns or complaints and escalate issues to Donations Manager as appropriate.
       o Participate in site visits to assess donations from businesses and individuals as needed.
       o Assist in donation pickups, loading, and unloading truck.

    · Retail Sales
       o Use computerized POS (point-of-service) to process customer transactions during peak hours.
       o Assist with loading and unloading trucks and donations door responsibilities as needed.

    · Database Management
       o Use Vonigo scheduling software to monitor, change, and update schedules on a daily basis.
       o Create and maintain Vonigo forms and email communications.
       o Provide donor activity and demographic reports in a timely and efficient manner.

    · Other duties as needed and/or assigned.
    Education and Experience:
    · High school diploma or GED.
    · 1 year experience with scheduling, planning, and/or logistics.
    · Previous retail experience desired.
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    · Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to communicate in a positive and professional manner and convey donation detail information to donors, customers, volunteers, and drivers or assign tasks.
    · Proficient data entry and 10-key skills.
    · Microsoft Office, web, and database management skills.
    · Ability to anticipate, plan, schedule, and problem solve donation pickup logistics and processes.
    · Excellent organization and customer service skills.

    · Majority of work will be sitting at a desk or sitting/standing at retail counter. May also include standing on concrete flooring for prolonged time periods.
    · Label, sort, and stock items weighing up to 40 pounds.
    · The majority of work is performed in a retail store and office setting.
    · Flexibility and willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, or additional hours as needed or required.
    · Core work hours are Monday-Friday between 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.
    · Hours worked may fluctuate between 30-40 hours per week depending on donation needs and during peak (April-November) and non-peak (December-March) periods.
    · Occasional travel (less than 10%) to other TCHFH locations.
    · Computer, printer, copier, scanner, and phone.
    · Software frequently used: Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel; and Vonigo.
    · Software occasionally used: Verizon Networkfleet.
