Portion of Warners’ Stellian laundry sales to be donated to Open Arms June 16
Minneapolis, MN – Minnesota’s appliance specialist Warners’ Stellian plans to donate $100 per laundry pair purchased from its Twin Cities stores on June 16 to Open Arms of Minnesota for an event called "Delivering for Good." The nonprofit organization, which delivers free, medically tailored meals to families living with life-threatening illnesses, had to cancel its largest fundraising event for the year due to COVID-19.
Since the outbreak, demand for Open Arms' meal services has increased 25%, and roughly one-third of their clients now lack critical resources due to recent property damage in their neighborhoods. "Donations from our partnership with Warners' Stellian will help ensure we meet the dramatic increase in demand for our services and continue delivering free, medically tailored meals to all of our critically-ill neighbors," says Open Arms' executive director Leah Hébert Welles.
In addition to donating a portion of laundry sales, in-person cash contributions to Open Arms will also be accepted at all Twin Cities Warners’ Stellian stores and at https://www.warnersstellian.com/openarms.
