Economic Development Meeting - May 2019
In 2018, Springboard for the Arts announced it was purchasing the old Saxon Ford site near University and Marion. Since then, Springboard for the Arts has transformed the space into SpringBOX, a place for artists and community members.
Built in 1890, 2327 Wycliff St. was the home for the Fisher Nut company for many years. In late 2018, the 300,000 square foot building was purchased by PAK Properties and rebranded "The Wycliff."
Paul Schroeder, CEO of HOURCAR, will talk about their plans to go all-electric by 2020. The EV Community Mobility Network, a partnership between HOURCAR, Xcel Energy, and the Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis, will create 70 mobility hubs, each with four level 2 (slower charging) EV chargers and up to 10 faster DCFC chargers.
Learn more about both of these exciting redevelopment projects, and take tours of the SpringBOX.
