Building on our first Midway Bold session in December, moderator Russell Peterson from Clever Architecture will borrow a technique from Speed Dating and do a unique Speed Visioning exercise to take the temperature (hopefully it will be warmer than the temperature outside) of the membership on the direction our Midway Vision should take. Come prepared to list several ideas you have for how you want the Midway to look in the next 10 or 20 years and what outcomes you believe would have a positive effect. We will then explore those ideas with a quick speed session designed to network and engage in a little fun. We will then categorize the most important vision ideas and ultimately report back to the committee on next steps. Prepare to have some fun! And don’t forget if you were part of the first session, come back and bring your card for a special “Mont Blanc” like pen!
The February Economic Development meeting is hosted by Ujamaa Place, in the Griggs Midway Building.
The Economic Development Meetings encourages and guides economic development in the Midway through advocacy, policy and program development, support for existing businesses and recruitment of new businesses. The Economic Development Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of the month (unless otherwise noted) at 11:30 a.m. at rotating locations throughout the Midway area.
